General Responsibilities
• Leads the direct sales process and achieving sales targets
• Responsible for visits to current and potential clients
• Leads the performing of routine account management activities
• Submits short and long-range sales plans and prepares sales strategies utilizing available marketing programs to reach nominated targets
• Ensures that clients receive high quality customer service
Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Additional Responsibilities
Responsible for North America and Latin America revenue generation in specific territory. Ensures consistent growth of pipeline winning new business in existing and new accounts.
Directs manufacturers’ representatives and administration resources.
Interprets and analyzes data to create solutions to grow revenue and placement.
Responsible for Sales/Revenue inputs into the annual plan, quarterly updates, and long range planning processes for specific accounts.
Maintains and grows significant relationships in multiple departments, understands product journey and can create decision trees for all steps.
Creates and executes sales strategies to win against highly commoditized product lines in the automotive aftermarket.
Additional Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with Aftermarket specific sales experience; OEM sales experience a plus but not required.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving $6M+ in sales and achieving significant revenue growth, specifically in the US market.
Rep Management: Strong skills with a proven ability to manage manufacture’s reps and ensure the ownership of the account remains with Sensata.
Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute a strategic vision for accounts.
Business Acumen: Proven ability to analyze information and leverage findings to set and drive the sales strategy.
Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization internally and with customers.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent relevant work experience.
