About the Role

As a Commercial Sales Manager for Foreign Passenger Transport, you will be at the forefront of our commercial efforts, responsible for driving sales volumes and developing new business within your assigned region. You'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, analyzing market conditions, identifying opportunities, and coordinating comprehensive proposals. Your expertise in passenger ticket sales applications and your ability to foster strong stakeholder networks will be crucial in expanding our presence and ensuring customer success in this specialized market.


What You Will Do

In this role, you will be instrumental in driving our commercial success:

Sales Planning & Strategy:

  • Plan and forecast sales volumes and potential for all customers within your assigned region.
  • Provide accurate information via CRM systems to support robust forecasting and strategic planning.
  • Analyze specific market conditions and cultivate a strong, market-related network of key stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for tailored local product and service portfolio solutions.

Customer Engagement & Business Development:

  • Prepare for and initiate customer contact, building and maintaining a strong, customer-focused network.
  • Develop and nurture new business opportunities specifically within the long-distance passenger transport industry.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for customers on commercial matters, ensuring excellent service and fostering long-term relationships.

What We Need From You

We're looking for a driven sales professional with a passion for the passenger transport industry!

Your Foundation:

  • Indispensable commercial experience within the foreign passenger transport market.
  • Essential experience with passenger ticket sales software/applications.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the long-distance passenger transport market.
  • Proven experience in developing new business opportunities within this industry.
  • Experience working with firms that provide solutions in the passenger transport market is highly valued.
  • Advanced English proficiency (both written and verbal) is mandatory.
  • Availability to travel extensively is indispensable.

Bonus Points (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Proficiency in German is desirable.
