We're seeking a full-time Inside Sales Associate to join our residential inside sales channel team. As an inside sales professional, you'll work with Tesla Certified Installers (CI's) who are value added resellers of Tesla residential energy solutions, and you’ll be responsible for growing the indirect business associated with Tesla's partner program. You'll provide orientation and sales guidance for newly onboarded CI's while collaborating with distributor branch offices and sales personnel to support them.
As a member of this team, you’ll help accelerate the sales growth of our residential energy products with our B2B customers, wearing several hats but solely focused on your B2B customer's success.
Emphasize the value pillars of Tesla's energy solutions and highlight the product benefits compared to competitive offerings
Take a proactive approach in reaching out to the CI's to grow and evolve the business relationships by providing critical sales & operational information relative to applications, product updates, and sales ops procedures
Take incoming calls from our B2B customers to solve problems and answer questions pertaining to distributor contacts, service protocols, configuration guidance, and system design resources
Identify your top customers who procure Tesla equipment on a regular basis and who may be eligible to participate in Tesla's Premier CI program
Keep excellent records of who to contact on a regular basis and be meticulous about following up with customers that require assistance and sales support
Provide remote sales training and updates via unified communications software(Microsoft Teams) as well as facilitate meetings with key personnel of your top sales performing customers
Collaborate with sales personnel of the Certified Installers who are proposing Tesla Powerwall and PVI to their prospective customers to help them generate more sales activity, increase their closing ratio, propose larger projects and shorten the average sales cycle
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
At least 3-5 years of B2B inside/outside sales experience within the industry or technology space
Fluency in Spanish required
Energy and enthusiasm to grow our indirect channel sales
Ability to problem solve with lots of creativity and passion
Solid work ethic and strong team-oriented personality
Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills
