Overview The role is "Global Flexible" The Global Imports/Exports & Canisters BU is a newly established cross-functional team under PepsiCo’s Global CEO of New Revenue Streams. This team is designed to unlock new sources of growth leveraging the global power of PepsiCo. The agenda is two-pronged: Scale PepsiCo’s canister business through advantaged new formats Build a global import/export model to capture growth in whitespaces (new consumers, markets & channels) The Business Development Manager will play a key role in identifying and advancing whitespace opportunities for our imports/exports strategy across snacks, foods and powdered products. They will work cross-functionally to uncover high-potential opportunities, translating data & insights into scalable growth initiatives and evaluating strategic partners to bring these initiatives to life. This role offers the opportunity to shape a new global capability from the ground-up, in close partnership with Commercial, Supply Chain, Marketing and R&D teams. This position reports to the Director of Business Development. Responsibilities Map, segment and prioritize the 3rd party distributor landscape globally Support negotiations of commercial terms with imports/exports distributors Support the development and execution of international growth strategies for the import/export of PepsiCo snacks, foods and powdered products across global markets Conduct market research and analyze data to identify whitespace opportunities and make business development recommendations Support the development of business cases for new import/export initiatives, including 'size of prize' modeling, investment requirements and local market sell-in materials Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international trade dynamics that impact the business (e.g., geopolitical shifts, regulatory changes, supply chain disruptions) Track and report KPIs for import/export initiatives and suggest improvements Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 - $178,100. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. Qualifications 5 years of experience in commercial/sales roles; experience with distributor partnership negotiations Strategic mindset with an ability to think broadly, refine questions, and develop analytical frameworks Strong data & analytics skills and handle on data systems (Circana, Nielsen, Euromonitor, etc.) and data visualization tools Excellent communicator and strong proficiency in MS Office Suite Excellent collaboration skills across global, cross-functional teams High emotional intelligence and comfort in ambiguity
