About this opportunity

  • This role is expected to work remote but will require travel.
  • The salary below refers to the 50%, that is base and there is a 50% commission paid based on sales/goal achievement.

The primary goals of a Carrier Sales Manager (CSM) are to manage and support sales, increase revenue attainment, support penetration strategy, lead sales enablement, and manage all related actions within all Carriers and/or Partners. The CSM serves as primary liaison between carrier sales, Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (EWS) sales, and partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with carrier, partners, and Ericsson EWS sales and marketing to facilitate sales enablement via relationships and joint activities such as training, funnel reviews, joint sales calls, and event participation to ensure Ericsson EWS & Cradlepoint products/solutions are top of mind and most recommended.
  • Support and/or execute strategic business plans, creative marketing programs, and effective sales enablement tools to increase revenue, market & share within carrier/partner account.
  • Support sales discussions on products/solutions at carrier, partner, and/or with customer base.
  • Coach carrier sales reps and train sales on strategies, processes, and tools.
  • Support Carrier Sales on proactive target account sales strategies.
  • Implement, train, and evangelize programs and tactics for carrier business partner(s) across all carrier business units, providing overall account leadership with detailed strategic & tactical business plans to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain key customer relationships with carrier field teams to further short- and long-term business objectives.
  • Identify and collaborate with Carrier Sales teams on new strategic and tactical opportunities with Carriers/Partners.

Job Description

  • Provide carrier account expertise to Ericsson EWS sales, marketing, and engineering teams on business challenges, culture, and environment, specifically market trends, future technology, competition, and partners that may affect the carrier’s business.
  • Attend carrier, partner, and/or industry events while providing product and solution knowledge to attendees and strategic meetings with partner; Significant travel expected in support of assignments.
  • Assist with field trials and customer demos.
  • Maintain business and technical acumen for all Ericsson EWS Products.
  • Maximize Carrier/Partner Resale sales results leveraging all agreed upon go-to-market, routes-to-market, and distribution strategies.
  • Collect and synthesize input from carrier and deliver a simplified message to executive management ways we can improve product, sales processes, support, and operations; Share with Carrier Sales Team/Lead.

 

The CSM will support multiple carrier(s), partner(s), and/or assigned territories. The CSM will be aware and supportive of all accounts and sales activities within these assignments including, but not limited to, funnel management for existing and prospective accounts. Their primary goals will be to increase carrier penetration as measured by revenue (aka Billings). The CSM is a remote position with significant travel expected at Carrier and partner events, meetings, and/or conferences.

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is listed below.  The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

 

•  $114,400 - $171,600
