What You Will Do
Trimble AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations) provides innovative solutions for the entire construction lifecycle, enhancing collaboration, efficiency, and productivity through advanced technology and software. It integrates design, engineering, fabrication, construction, and operational workflows for improved project outcomes.
As part ofMalaysia’s AECO Direct field sales team, you’ll:
Sell our industry leading Tekla Structures offerings as well as Civil and Construction Project management solutions available in your Malaysia and Singapore territory.
Achieve direct sales quotas and key performance indicators as set out by the Sales management team.
Hunt, pursue and maximise new logo sales leads & opportunities through various sales channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and marketing leads
Manage allocated accounts, identifying new selling opportunities within, renewing annual support contract(s) and building long-term relationships.
Ensure timely update of pipeline information & status in CRM , and provide accuracy weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts.
Partner with marketing to design and execute demand and lead-generation initiatives to build a healthy sales funnel
Work closely with the technical pre-sales team to agree and execute individual plans to land new customers.
Participate actively in developing and executing annual business plans and strategic initiatives to grow business.

What Skills, Qualifications and Experience you should bring:
Proven direct sales experience in the construction industry; preference given to those with software sales and new customer acquisition experience.
Demonstrable experience in the AEC industry, with strong domain knowledge in civil, building design or construction management; preference given to those with civil working or sales experience.
Strong relationships and an extensive network of contacts with key decision-makers and influencers among Owners, Contractors, Consultants, and Fabricators
Result-oriented and goal focused with strong time management skills and ability to deliver results on time
Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen to customer issues, understand customer workflows, and identify customer goals
Good organizational skills, a flexible mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills in English are required, and proficiency in other commonly spoken languages in Singapore would be an advantage
A strong understanding of BIM, digital construction, and other industry trends in Singapore would be advantageous
Demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude; is results-oriented, collaborative, open-minded, agile, goal-focused, and customer-centric.
A degree or diploma in construction-related fields is preferred.
