Role Purpose & Responsibilities The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the Modern Trade channel development across different Latin American markets for PepsiCo Beverages and our bottling partners. Key responsibilities include: Category Management capabilities: Drive a mindset shift within PepsiCo and our bottling partners on how to lead category development in spaces where we are leaders or enablers for future growth segments. Strategic customer partnerships: Build long-term, constructive relationships with strategic customers, leveraging processes such as WCCE and elevating their impact for positive evolution. Talent development: Enable and upskill our commercial teams by enhancing negotiation capabilities, achieving stronger agreements with our customers. Strategic battles translation: Lead PepsiCo’s core strategic battles, landing them into Modern Trade formats (e.g., supermarkets, convenience stores), with deep understanding of the sub-formats most relevant to each market. 2. Key Responsibilities in Detail Champion Category Management practices to maximize category growth and profitability. Gain shopper & retail understanding across different subchannels within our markets Ensure robust strategic planning and execution with bottlers and customers in the Modern Trade channel. Develop and implement customer engagement processes with long-term perspective. Elevate negotiation standards and capabilities within the team. Translate PepsiCo’s strategic battles into channel-specific initiatives, tailoring to local market needs and sub-format dynamics Enable community building and cross fertilization across different markets and bottlers to accelerate MT development Your Impact Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields. Master’s degree is desirable but not mandatory. Language: High proficiency in English (fluent, written and spoken). Experience: Minimum of 8 years’ experience in organized retail management. Proven track record in Category Management, ideally in any CPG industry (beverages not required). Direct experience operating or managing the Modern Trade channel, ideally as a Key Account Manager. International or multi-country experience highly desirable. Qualifications Who Are We Looking For?
