Developing Radiology Sales Expert (m/f/d)
Bayer S.p.A., for its Radiology Team, is looking for a bright candidate as Developing Radiology Sales Expert.
He/she will be responsible for solution selling and delivering a holistic Radiology portfolio offering, acting as the main point of contact for stakeholders and bridging Commercial/Sales and Medical Affairs. As an expert in the radiology area, the role focuses on building long-term scientific and strategic relationships, developing customer knowledge, identifying business opportunities, and co-creating solutions to address customer and patient needs.
The role applies a strategic mindset to budget and resource allocation in close coordination with local leadership and brand plan, ensures compliance by avoiding off-label discussions, and contributes to Bayer’s mission through customer satisfaction, effective resource management (including P&L), and the delivery of innovative solutions that improve patient care.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES:
- Scientific exchange with HCPs, proactively and reactively, using innovative engagement formats to communicate and clarify data on contrast media, devices, and the radiological patient journey
- Regional strategy & account management, defining and executing account plans with local leadership, adopting co-created solutions, and driving customer satisfaction through data-driven decisions
- Clinical support, including workshops, hospital meetings, educational sessions, and contributions to feasibility assessments in clinical research
- Market access analysis & execution, monitoring healthcare policies, competitive landscapes, and reimbursement processes to identify risks, opportunities, and stakeholder needs
- Strategic planning & negotiation, developing 90-day cycle plans aligned with customer and Bayer objectives, supported by transparent negotiations and effective contract management
- Business acumen & data analysis, leveraging financial insights, market trends, and sales data to guide decisions that deliver value and growth
- Collaboration, adaptability & resilience, fostering teamwork, embracing change, and ensuring alignment across functions
- P&L accountability, managing resources in line with Business Unit strategic guidelines
WHO YOU ARE:
- Scientific degree (recognized qualification suitable for carrying out the activity of Scientific Informant of the Drug – e.g. Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a similar field); alternatively, documented experience as ISF prior to 11/01/1993 (as per Legislative Decree No. 219 of 24 April 2006)
- Additional training in Health Economics or Market Access, or PhD is preferred
- 3+ years of previous experience in medical, market access, and commercial roles is preferred
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and scientific background with understanding of clinical trial design
- Result- and data-oriented, strategic and responsible approach
- Ability to work in cross-functional, complex environments and adapt quickly to changes
- Customer-focused with business development and engagement experience
- Strong organizational, project management, and networking skills
- Good informatics skills and proficiency in digital tools and data analysis (Excel, CRM, sales platforms)
- Residence or domicile in Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige
- Fluent in English and Italian mother tongue
