Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of D&M Industry Territory Sales to lead our sales efforts across a defined industry and territory. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through direct and indirect channels, developing high-performing teams, and executing sales strategies that align with Autodesk’s business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who fosters collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity while delivering consistent results.

Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and alignment with Autodesk’s values
Drive the team to exceed assigned quotas through effective sales execution and strategic account planning
Deliver accurate and timely forecasting, pipeline management, and business reporting
Generate new business opportunities while maximizing existing revenue streams across direct and partner-led channels
Oversee the execution of strategic sales and marketing initiatives, including product launches, trade shows, channel development events, and customer forums
Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with key customers and partners
Guide resellers in developing sales and marketing plans aligned with Autodesk’s industry solutions
Ensure consistent implementation of company initiatives by directing Sales Executives to collaborate effectively with partners
Provide market insights to internal teams, influencing product development and business strategy
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align resources and drive customer success
Champion the use of CRM tools and Autodesk methodologies to manage and track opportunities
Align team goals with corporate objectives using SMART goals to drive performance and accountability
Promote innovation and continuous improvement across sales operations and supporting functions
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
10+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets
4+ years of experience in sales leadership, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
Demonstrated success in managing both direct and indirect sales channels
Strong understanding of sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM tools
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable sales plans
Experience working in a matrixed organization and collaborating across functions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the software or technology industry, ideally within a SaaS or platform business model
Familiarity with Autodesk’s products, industry solutions, and customer segments
Proven ability to lead change and drive innovation in sales processes
Experience working with channel partners and developing partner ecosystems
Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform decisions and strategy
