As Director, Ecommerce Marketing - Sales Excellence, you will lead the strategic enablement of sales transformation across the region, driving AI adoption to enhance productivity, streamline operations, and optimize profitability. You will partner with global and regional stakeholders on product sales planning, promotional strategies, and long-lead portfolio development for the Direct channel. Your role includes performance outlooks, identifying revenue risks and growth opportunities, and delivering performance insights. You’ll collaborate with regional leaders to activate market growth strategies across Surface, Xbox, and M365. Additionally, you’ll define and scale best practices, represent regional perspectives in global forums, and influence worldwide strategy—building capabilities that empower teams to thrive and lead with impact. You will take a collaborative approach across multiple corporate and regional teams and use your business acumen, curiosity, critical thinking and solid communication skills to help deliver clear, actionable insights and inform key strategies and plans for the business.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 5+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles OR 7+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years’ experience working in a strategy, business leadership, or other quantitatively oriented role.
  • 4+ years experience communicating complex business information to a range of audiences in written, visual and verbal formats.
  • 2+ years' experience distilling customer and business insights and recommending actions based on data analysis from disparate sources.

 

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 7+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field AND 8+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles OR 9+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years project/vendor management experience.
  • Experience working in a large, global organization with a disparate group of stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering with data analysts and data scientists.
  • Experience with eCommerce and marketing levers.
  • Experience using AI to drive automation to reduce inefficiencies for a team's workflow.

 

eCommerce IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
