Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and high-performing Director of Sales to lead multiple inside sales teams focused on both inbound and outbound lead generation. This is a key leadership role responsible for achieving revenue goals, mentoring frontline sales managers, and optimizing sales processes. You will oversee 3–5 Inside Sales Managers who collectively lead approximately 15 sales representatives across multiple sales teams. This role is responsible for turning high-level strategy into actionable team-level results while building and strengthening relationships with our partners to drive long-term success. You’ll be joining a high-growth startup environment with the autonomy to make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and manage 3–5 Inside Sales Managers and their teams, representing a total of approximately 15 sales reps across multiple programs, to consistently achieve quota.
Drive performance through effective sales coaching, KPI tracking, and operational discipline.
Translate strategic objectives into team-level execution plans that deliver measurable results.
Collaborate with the VP of Sales on GTM strategy, sales playbooks, and revenue forecasting.
Build scalable sales processes and continuously refine workflows to drive efficiency and conversion rates.
Serve as the primary executive point of contact for key partners, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment on goals, priorities, and performance metrics.
Manage client performance expectations and align team execution with key account strategies.
Hire, onboard, and develop top sales talent, ensuring strong succession planning.
Qualifications
5+ years of sales experience in high-growth or startup environments.
2+ years of sales management experience; experience managing managers is a strong plus.
Experience managing client or partner relationships at an executive level to drive mutual growth and retention.
Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and modern sales tech stacks.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Track record of leading quota-carrying teams to exceed targets.
