What you need to know about this position: The Director of Sales, AmEx position is responsible for the performance of Mondelēz International Export Business in Latin America and North America from a commercial perspective and the long-term strategy development through aligning Export Strategy with Americas and defining opportunities for profitable growth. Reporting to this role are 4 Business Development Managers.
The AMEX Cluster operates within 45 countries via a network of 106 third-party customers who operate as Distributors in the Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Wholesale, Club, Hyper and Foodservice/AFH channels.
The business portfolio categories are: Beverages, Biscuits, Candy, Chocolate, Cheese and Grocery, which are comprised of 75 brands / 1,200 skus are globally sourced from Mondelēz, external co-manufacturers and licensors.
America Export Annual Est. Net Revenue: $140MM.
The Director of Sales, AmEx is a key member of the Management team Total Annual WACAM Revenue*: +$900MM.

Job specific requirements:
Minimum 15 years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry with emphasis in marketing, trade marketing, sales, and export logistics.
Minimum 5 years of experience in dealing with and developing third-party distributors (understanding of different channels of trade, high and low-end trade retailers).
Complete understanding of Sales and Marketing principles and concepts.
In-depth Business understanding and experience – ability to understand business mechanisms.
Full bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish)
Travel requirements: 40-50% international travel required.
The base salary range for this position is $141,000 to $246,750; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results and eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program.
