We're on a mission to improve education for everyone, and we're looking for enthusiastic Educational Sales Consultants to help us achieve it. As an Educational Sales Consultant, you'll help parents find the perfect tutor for their child's needs. You'll be calling warm leads who have signed up on our website, managing their journey from sign-up to becoming a paying customer. We'll provide all the training you need, so no previous experience in education is required! #LI-RD1

This role is based at our London office on Old Street. You’ll have the option to work from home one day per week and your schedule will include weekdays with a mix of weekend shifts (typically two weekend days per month).

  • Early Shift: 8am - 5pm | Monday-Friday (usually one week a month) 
  • Day Shift: 9am - 6pm | Monday-Friday 
  • Late Shift: 12 - 8:30pm | Monday-Thursday (usually one week a month) 
  • Weekend Shift: 11:30 - 6pm Saturday/Sunday (usually two weekend days a month, with a paid 30 minute break)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Support parents in finding the right tutor for their child using predominantly outbound phone calls but also via email, WhatsApp, SMS and live chat
  • Cross-selling products to maximise long term value for customers and to meet customer demand 
  • Building strong customer relationships by demonstrating excellent communication techniques and product expertise 
  • Provide feedback about trends and patterns of parent needs to our Product and Consumer Marketing teams 
  • Work with the Consumer Sales Team Lead to continuously iterate on communication and processes, to ensure we are providing the best service for parents, and the best results for the business 
  • Collaborate with the rest of the team to meet targets and support each other

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience of working in an environment with sales targets and KPIs
  • Ability to work both weekday and occasional weekend shifts until early evening
  • Experience working with customers in previous sales roles and are comfortable calling potential customers who are not expecting our call 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathise with customer needs
  • Motivated by the idea of helping parents find the perfect tutor to help their child succeed
  • Confidence in working with each parent on a one-to-one basis, ensuring their specific questions and concerns are addressed 
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to sales 
  • Ability to give and receive feedback collaboratively and effectively across teams
  • Resilient and consistent with ability to bounce back from setbacks and remain focused on goals 
  • Team player with the ability to work efficiently with a team to achieve team targets, whilst ensuring attention to detail and quality of service 
  • Experience with Google Workspace (G-Suite), not a requirement but preferred
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM software, not a requirement but preferred
