We are looking for a Field Account Manager for our Sales department at Sartorius. In this dynamic role, you will oversee commercial activities for both key and regional accounts representing our bioprocess portfolio in Ireland, while also engaging in business development to boost sales growth. Ideally based from home, your territory will encompass Ireland, with a focus on new and existing customers located mainly in the Dublin, Cork, and/or Limerick area. Expect to spend three days a week visiting customers on-site.
Grow with Us – Your Responsibilities
Understand customers’ needs to proactively promote the full range of the bioprocess portfolio and services to achieve sales and revenue targets by both in – person and remote interaction to assigned customers
Identify key decision makers, develop prospects, maintain leads in CRM (Salesforce) and build and further develop relationships
Managing the account and relationships with different functions and hierarchy level within the accounts, upselling and increasing revenue
Discover new business opportunities across the entire product portfolio, including upstream and downstream bioprocessing, as well as fill and finish processes.
Liaise with internal teams such as Application Specialists, Order Process Management, Sales Support, Sales Development Specialists, Product Excellence & Marketing to utilise resources to support value offerings throughout the entire sales process
Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement global account strategies to support the customer and gain market share
Conducting presentations, demos, negotiations, generate quotations and respond to customer enquiries
Present and drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace and follow up on the successful implementation of sales activity
Foster ongoing enhancement in collaboration and work methodologies with the customer
What will convince us
BSc degree in life sciences or engineering or equivalent would be preferred, higher level qualification would be beneficial
Good knowledge of biotechnology industry and bioprocessing solutions
Industry experience within R&D/manufacturing or process development with biologicals
Demonstrated sales experience in biotech/pharma industry would be beneficial
Strong customer focus with great communication and negotiation skills
Have excellent record management skills, use of CRM would be advantageous
Creative thinker when it comes to problem solving, self – motivated and results oriented
Persistent, ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment and embrace change
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work as part of a cross functional team
Willingness and flexibility to travel
