We are looking for a Field Account Manager for one of our Strategic Account based in Flanders.

This is a remote position that requires frequent visits to our customer site and occasional travel within Europe for meetings.

As a member of the European team, you will assume responsibility for delivering sales results and fostering robust customer relationships in accordance with the company’s strategic objectives for the designated customer portfolio.

Grow with Us - Your Responsibilities

  • Promote the company’s portfolio of Fluid Management Technologies, Separation Technologies, and associated services to the designated customer, with the objective of meeting established sales and revenue goals.

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities consistent with the organization’s overarching market and growth strategy.

  • Consistently leverage Salesforce (SFDC) to manage and record leads, opportunities, and all customer interactions and sales activities, ensuring that customer and opportunity data are maintained accurately and remain current within the CRM system.

  • Analyze SFDC data for assigned customers to identify trends, generate actionable insights and track sales performance.

  • Actively drive the introduction of newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace and proactively monitor the successful implementation of related sales activities.

  • Assess and analyze customer needs, generate leads, respond to inquiries and recommend suitable products and services.

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans, coordinating and requesting internal resources in alignment with these plans.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance market perception and develop effective strategies to expand business within assigned accounts.

  • Coordinate and participate in marketing activities and events within the assigned territory.

  • Regularly assess customer potential and develop plans to convert it into tangible business opportunities.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships aimed at fostering sustainable partnerships.

  • Upon mastering your assigned client, you will be responsible for overseeing other sites throughout Europe.

What will convince us

  • Academic degree in life sciences or engineering (higher level of education would be beneficial)

  • Prior experience in field sales within the life sciences sector is desirable. Demonstrated ambition and commitment to developing in this role will be considered an asset.

  • Candidates must be fluent in English, and knowledge of Flemish will be considered an advantage.

  • Hands-on knowledge of SFDC and other CRM platforms, coupled with proactive application, would be advantageous.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Self-motivated, energetic, results oriented, capacity to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility

  • Good teamwork skills and proven ability to also work with cross-functional teams

  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently

  • Proven software skills, e.g. Microsoft Office
