Job Description Summary
The Key Account Manager will work with top Healthcare groups equipped with multi-disciplinary capabilities and with GE Healthcare client organization to introduce innovative care delivery concepts, accelerate their growth, and drive efficiency and optimization of their existing operations.
This role will be responsible to understand challenges within the customer ecosystem and establish C-suite contacts in order to develop and structure solutions leveraging GE Healthcare’s portfolio, as well as coordinate the closure and execution of projects driving business growth

Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop new or strengthen existing client, C-suit and Government relationships to drive business opportunities and growth
- Understand clients’ ecosystem (financial, operational, clinical level and health policy level), needs and challenges to support the customer in identifying the best solution adapted to their needs
- Design key accounts strategies addressing current and anticipate future needs as well as connect and tailor to GE Healthcare Ultrasound portfolio solutions
- Use and promote GE Healthcare’s technological capabilities in the context of clients’ needs
- Leverage different funding opportunities to advise clients on the possible funding schemes
- Manage respective sales targets from lead creation to successful Sale & Install
- Drive the collaboration and integration with the internal teams including commercial Sales, Service, Finance, Legal, Modalities GE Healthcare Partners, Healthcare Equipment Finance and functional Centers of Excellence to drive sales of solution offerings meeting the customer needs.
- Support sales strategies in the region and lead sales strategies within the Enterprise accounts. Leading the development of bid proposals together with the commercial team (eqt & services) to drive business growth.

- Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
- Complete Ascend training and implement methodology in the field
- Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare HIPPA Guidelines, NEMA Regulations, etc.) and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int’l Law is broken.
- Knowledge and understanding of all Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, GE Healthcare Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int’l Law is broken
- Ownership of order and configuration quality at the point of entry to ensure accuracy, configuration integrity and that all requirements are tied to documented customer inputs.
- Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.
Qualifications:
- Proven professional sales or consulting experience
- Prior work experience in Healthcare, Consultancy or healthcare service providers where they have gained deep healthcare industry understanding
- Proven experience in interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process
- Track record of success in winning new business and maintaining high quality long-term client relationships
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and commercial skills to build strong relationships, synthesize complex issues and communicate into simple messages
- Demonstrated capability to build strong relationships at the executive level in healthcare, academic, governments and regions in Italy.
- Strong influencing and leadership skills – ability to lead by influence and energize around developing solutions for the customer
- Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer
- Willingness and ability to travel within your specified geographic region
- Fluent verbal and written English language
- Demonstrated high work ethic and integrity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive Healthcare Ultrasound sales experience
- Direct experience in contract negotiating & closing skills
- Prior experience with and understanding of large Healthcare groups and how they operate
- Healthcare Finance understanding and/or experience
- Project management skills – ability to drive complex projects to successful completion requiring high coordination across different functional teams
- Creative mindset and problem solving to define the best solution for the customer
- Experience in driving change and transformation projects to deliver better customer outcome
