Manager, Inside Sales

What is the opportunity?
As the Manager, Inside Sales, you will be leading a high performing inside sales team to new levels of focus and results. You'll inherit a strong foundation and drive enhanced performance by developing top talent, aligning team activities with business priorities, and maximizing revenue from existing relationships while building new ones with high potential brokers.

What will you do?

• Drive team results through strategic coaching, performance management, and accountability systems that align individual activities with business objectives

• Develop top performers by providing hands on coaching, meaningful feedback, and career development that elevates both sales skills and professional growth

• Drive sales by helping the team capture more business from existing broker relationships while building connections with high potential prospects

• Lead proactively on regional and national initiatives, supporting implementation and workflow optimization

• Build cross functional partnerships with head office teams and third-party partners to deliver seamless broker and client experiences

• Resolve complex issues independently while mentoring your team to do the same, ensuring superior outcomes with minimal escalation

• Foster a results-driven culture that maintains RBC's standards for ethics, integrity, and client experience while pushing for continuous improvement. Deliver on RBC’s collective ambition in support of our vision to be among the world’s most trusted and successful financial institutions.

What will you need to succeed?
 

Must-have

• University degree or equivalent work experience

• Life/A&S License

• Strong technical knowledge across Life, Living Benefits, and Wealth product lines

• Proven leadership and sales management experience with a track record of driving team results

• Strategic mindset with hands-on coaching abilities / strong business acumen and organizational awareness
