Position Overview:
The Sales Representative is responsible for managing direct sales to end-users of the organization’s products or services. This role may cover a large geographic area or focus on a specific industry or product segment at a national or regional level. The scope and level of responsibility are determined by the size and significance of the assigned territory or market.

Location: Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Texas (Remote)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales activities within a designated geographic area, industry, or product segment.

  • Sell the company’s products or services to new and existing clients.

  • Develop new accounts and expand relationships with existing customers.

  • Utilize effective sales techniques and a working understanding of company offerings to meet client needs.

  • Recommend appropriate solutions based on developing knowledge of products, services, and industry trends.

  • Complete moderately complex sales transactions with minimal supervision.

  • Collaborate with senior sales personnel on more complex opportunities.

  • Maintain and grow a portfolio of small to medium-sized accounts.

  • Meet assigned sales quotas and contribute to revenue and bookings growth.

  • Begin to establish and maintain a network of professional contacts.

  • Demonstrate the ability to identify and cultivate sales opportunities independently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

  • 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in a related industry or product segment.

  • Working knowledge of company products/services and sales methodologies.

  • Developing familiarity with the industry or specialty product/service.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information:

  • This is an intermediate-level sales role with growing responsibility for account management and revenue generation.

  • Travel may be required depending on the geographic scope of the role.

Forcepoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range and variable compensation for this role is 140,000.00 - 170,000.00 and represents the low and high end of compensation for this position. Actual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Forcepoint’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits
