The Partner Sales Director - EMEA FSI is a driving force in the establishment, growth, and GTM strategy within Workiva for the Financial Services sector. The Director will leverage their experience to identify and establish new partnership opportunities, optimise existing partner relationships, and develop offerings and accelerators, while driving net-new growth. This position works closely with Sales and Partnerships leadership. Cross organisational alignment with Account Executives, Alliance Directors, Marketing, Product Development, Customer Success, and Sales Operations is critical in ensuring program success.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute the Go to Market Strategy for Channel and Alliances across:
Regional Consulting Partners
Global System Integrators (GSIs)
Software Vendors (ISVs)
Distributors
Executive Relationship Management: Foster executive-level relationships for strategic partnerships.
Contracting Strategy: Develop and implement effective contracting strategies.
Market Intelligence: Analyse market data to inform partner strategies.
Sourced & Co-Sell Bookings: Drive new business through partner-sourced and co-selling efforts.
Partner Recruitment & Activation: Recruit and onboard new partners for successful integration.
Escalation Management: Resolve escalated partner issues to ensure program success.
Pipeline Development & Nurture: Build, expand, and nurture partner sales pipelines.
What You'll Need
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years of related experience in software and/or SaaS and/or consulting, including selling to large enterprise commercial customers
Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
Must be fluent or native in German and English
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in Professional Services including software implementation scoping and delivery
Proven ability to develop and execute a strategy involving multiple stakeholders
Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement
Experience interacting cross-functionally in a matrix-oriented environment critical (including but not limited to sales, services, product, customer success, marketing, operations)
Ability to identify ways to successfully develop and execute a strategy
Ability to engage and collaborate with senior leaders and external Partners
Negotiation, influencing, collaboration and conflict resolution skills
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving/critical thinking skills
Thrives in a collaborative environment and strong ability to be flexible in work approach based on business needs
Travel Requirement & Working Conditions
Up to 35% travel for regular customer meetings and events
Reliable internet access required for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office
