    At Sano, we’re on a mission to accelerate the future of precision medicine — and pharma is where we prove our biggest impact. Our current pharma partners already trust us to operate under global MSAs for their programs. Now we need to expand our impact across their portfolio, converting that trust into contracted revenue and long-term, value delivering partnerships.

    We’re looking for a Pharma Account Executive to take ownership of these strategic enterprise accounts. You’ll lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles, work closely with senior decision-makers, and help transform single programs into enterprise wide impact. Reporting to the Director, AEs & Sales Enablement (Nicolas Calvert), you’ll collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, Delivery, and Product to make sure Sano delivers exceptional value to the world’s largest pharma companies.

    This role is central to our growth story. By driving expansion in pharma, you’ll help prove Sano’s potential for scale, demonstrate our leadership in precision patient finding, and set us up for success in brining precision medicines to the world.

    • Salary - up to $120,000 base (+OTE)
    • Location - This is a remote US role, but please note that we’re only able to hire in the following US states:
      • Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas

    How you'll make an impact:

    • Expand revenue with top 5 pharma customers by converting MSAs into contracted programs
    • Drive ARR contribution, hitting quota and proving pharma expansion for Series B
    • Build senior stakeholder alignment across clinical, regulatory, and commercial functions
    • Improve forecast predictability by strengthening close plans and stakeholder mapping
    • Unlock new case studies and references from pharma expansions to support Sano’s market leadership
    • Partner with Delivery to ensure pharma accounts experience seamless execution and renewal

      This job is for you if you:

      • Have proven success expanding revenue within large pharma accounts
      • Understand the clinical trial lifecycle (esp. Phases I–III) and how patient finding impacts enrollment and timelines
      • Have sold solutions into clinical development, translational medicine, regulatory, or medical affairs functions
      • Can navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles across clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams
      • Are experienced & comfortable using modern sales methods & tools (MEDDICC or similar frameworks, HubSpot, Gong, AI)
      • Communicate with credibility to both scientific stakeholders and senior commercial leaders
      • Thrive in high-growth environments where you shape tools, playbooks, and processes as they evolve
      • Are open to feedback and give the same support back to your teammates

        Even better if you:

        • Have experience working with clinical operations, medical affairs, or rare disease/genetic trial teams
        • Are familiar with regulatory and compliance frameworks like GCP, GDPR, HIPAA, and pharma procurement processes
        • Bring a background in healthtech, CROs, or startup/scale-ups, where adaptability and pace are key
        • Have sold into global trial teams across the US and EU

          This role is unlikely to be a great match if:

          • You prefer highly structured, corporate environments and find it hard to adapt when processes evolve
          • You are not open to feedback, coaching, or learning — curiosity and growth mindset are essential here
          • You struggle with accountability to clear revenue targets and taking full ownership of your pipeline
