PreSales Manager I – Data & AI Solutions Manager

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a dynamic and experienced PreSales Manager to lead our Data & AI solutions across the Xcelerator Portfolio supporting Life Science, Consumer Products & Retail, and Energy & Utilities industries. In this strategic leadership role, you will work closely with our PreSales, Sales, Marketing and Portfolio teams to provide technical leadership and content for AI-driven solutions in our sales process to direct customers.

As a PreSales Data & AI Manager, you will lead the effort to enable our sales teams with clear, concise, and effective AI demonstration content to showcase our data analytics and artificial intelligence solutions across the digital threads. By leveraging agile methodologies for project management of AI content development, you will accelerate delivery of intelligent solutions to progress opportunities at our customer accounts. You will also be leading the global effort of standardization of our Data & AI content for the Growth Markets industries, with particular focus on the Altair RapidMiner platform and embedded AI across the Xcelerator Portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Manage PreSales Solution Consultant resources specializing in Data & AI within the Growth Markets vertical (Life Science, Consumer Products & Retail, and Energy & Utilities industries)

• Manage deliverables for Data & AI content, scenario creation, and common industry AI demonstration environment development for Growth Markets

• Lead AI Studio and Graph Studio implementations using the Altair RapidMiner platform for customer demonstrations and proof of concepts

• Manage agile delivery process for each industry's Data & AI solutions within Polarion ALM

• Coordinate resources across the zone for Data & AI deliverables and PreSales opportunity execution

• Drive continuous improvement of Siemens' AI and data analytics presentations and software demonstrations

• Lead knowledge transfer of Data & AI concepts, graph databases, and ontologies to sales professionals and other solution consultants

• Maintain up-to-date understanding of AI capabilities embedded across the Xcelerator Portfolio and communicate gaps to Product Development

• Coordinate with Industry Marketing on Data & AI messaging, collateral, and alignment to scenarios and PreSales execution

• Manage cloud environments for AI demonstration environments, graph database implementations, and customer AI proof of concepts

• Oversee graph database and ontology implementations for customer use cases and demonstration scenarios

• Lead AI integration strategies across PLM, CAD, simulation, and manufacturing solutions within the Xcelerator Portfolio

• Manage customer AI workshops and lead technical conversations on data analytics and AI adoption

• Drive standardization of AI methodologies and best practices across Growth Markets industries

Required Background/Skills, Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline

• 10+ years of technical experience in data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or consulting services in regulated industries

• Prior experience managing people on a technical AI/data science team

• Prior experience in project management with focus on AI/ML initiatives

• Experience with Altair RapidMiner platform including AI Studio and Graph Studio

• Strong knowledge of graph databases and ontology development

• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and platforms

• Understanding of embedded AI across enterprise software portfolios

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex data challenges and develop AI solutions

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex AI concepts in a clear and concise manner

• High level of initiative, teamwork, flexibility, willingness to learn

• Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for AI technology and driving business results

• Experience with cloud platforms for AI/ML workloads (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Preferred Background/Skills, Education and Experience:

                  10+ years of technical experience in application development, solution engineering, presales, or consulting services in regulated industries.

                  Experience working in a regulated environment.

                  Experience with using public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

                  Experience with using Agile methodologies

                  Deep knowledge of Siemens Xcelerator Portfolio and embedded AI capabilities

                  Experience with knowledge graphs and semantic technologies (RDF, OWL, SPARQL)

                  Certification in AI/ML platforms (AWS ML, Azure AI, Google Cloud AI)

                  Experience with MLOps and AI model lifecycle management

                  Knowledge of digital twin AI applications and Industry 4.0 implementations

                  Experience with natural language processing and computer vision applications

                  Understanding of federated learning and edge AI deployments

                  Experience with AI explainability and interpretable machine learning

                  Knowledge of time series analysis and predictive analytics for manufacturing

                  Experience with reinforcement learning applications in industrial settings

The pay range for this position is $142,800 - $285,600 annually with a target incentive of 20% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
