Meet the team:

This position will represent company products or services to OptumRx downstream payors. Responsible for driving product sales at specific Regional accounts and obtain product formulary and medical coverage with assigned payors to meet corporate goals. Strategically assessing, developing, and implementing action plans to align Company with key OptumRx clients; ensure achievement of access and revenue objectives; provide total account management with a focus on selling at the operational leadership level (Medical and Pharmacy Directors) and building a business partner relationship.

Work with Dexcom colleagues to drive sales, and expand coverage policy to accelerate payor acceptance of CGM as Standard of Care. Collaborate with Regional Payor Solutions Executives to effectively pull-through market access strategies and develop clinician and other stakeholder advocacy. 

Where you come in:

  • You will cultivate relationships and drive strategies at the regional client level in collaboration with Payor Solution Executives to drive sales and further enhance access to Dexcom products.
  • You are responsible for strategically assessing, developing, and implementing action plans to align Company with assigned Regional payors; ensure achievement of sales and profit objectives for assigned book of business; provide total account management with a focus on selling at the operational leadership level and building business partner relationships 
  • You will develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with external stakeholder decision makers and account influencers within assigned accounts.
  • You will partner with Payor Solutions Executive for pull through programs to increase revenue and drive adoption of CGM for assigned Commercial accounts.    
  • You will achieve access, revenue, profitability metrics. 
  • You will set collaborative strategic and tactical plans aimed at achieving these goals for both DME and pharmacy channels. 
  • This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned. 

What makes you successful:

  • You bring experience working with Regional managed care accounts 
  • You have experience negotiating with Commercial payors including contracting with a focus on achieving improved access for Dexcom products 
  • You bring extensive experience and relationships with Regional payors 
  • You have strong experience and relationships within the managed care industry  
  • You bring experience in both DME and pharmacy payor channels 
  • You have a proven track record of results. 
  • You bring experience selling in the Diabetes market

  • 50%

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience.
  • At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience

Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.
