The Role
As a Sales Executive - SME (Small to Medium-Sized Enterprises), you will be responsible for acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts within the SME segment (companies with <2000 employees) in EMEA, focusing on the France and French-speaking markets. You will manage the full sales cycle, executing strategic sales initiatives, and maintaining a strong pipeline to achieve revenue targets. The Sales Executive reports to the Director, SME.

This position can be located in Oslo, Norway or Copenhagen, Denmark.

Responsibilities

  • New Business Development: Identify, engage, and convert SME prospects through proactive outreach, inbound inquiries, and targeted sales efforts.
  • Account Expansion: Develop and strengthen relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and introduce enterprise solutions.
  • Sales Process Ownership: Manage the end-to-end sales process from initial contact to deal closure and post-sale expansion efforts (excluding renewals).
  • Pipeline Management & Forecasting: Maintain and develop a structured pipeline, providing weekly forecasts to ensure consistent business growth.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Develop a strong understanding of how Kahoot! enhances corporate communication, learning & development, and effectively communicate its value to customers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive successful commercial outcomes for customers.
  • CRM Management: Utilize HubSpot to track all account activity, ensuring up-to-date records of quotations, leads, and opportunities.
  • Fluent in French, and English (written & spoken)
  • Over 1 years of B2B SaaS sales experience with closing responsibility, or a senior SDR/BDR background with a proven track record.
  • Goal-driven with a strong ability to manage expectations, to present solutions and build relationships
  • Skilled in prospecting, lead generation, and initiating conversations with new customers
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Structured approach to managing tasks and priorities
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage and run a complex sales process and to articulate the business value of SaaS offerings within Learning & Development and Communication.
