Your task:
In this role you will have the responsibility for the development and execution of the sales strategy and leading our Traded commodities team in charge of global and NEU commodities exporters and importers in our Direct Transport Sales team.
- Develops and executes local customer strategies for the Freight Forwarder and Commodity Trader segment, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
- Leverages in-depth knowledge of the local market and business environment to shape and support sales strategy development
- Builds and maintains strong senior-level relationships with top accounts, driving long-term partnerships and growth
- Leads joint sales activities with representatives and channel managers to maximize market reach and customer impact
- Drives best-in-class account management, ensuring optimal customer engagement and a deep understanding of client needs
- Oversees forecasting and budgeting processes, aligning financial planning with sales targets and strategic priorities
- Designs and executes sales campaigns to generate pipeline opportunities and accelerate conversion
- Coaches, motivates, and develops the sales team to achieve sustainable growth across the full product portfolio
- Defines and sets sales targets in collaboration with the Sales Finance Business Partner (FBP) to drive performance
- Monitors and improves Net Promoter Score (NPS), fostering client satisfaction while driving high team engagement
Your profile:
- 7–10 years of proven experience in Sales and Business Development, with solid knowledge of the Swiss and global commodity markets
- Demonstrated sales leadership within the forwarding and logistics industry, driving measurable business growth
- Deep understanding of customer requirements and daily logistical challenges, with a strong ability to deliver tailored solutions
- Results-driven and highly motivated, consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Thrives in fast-paced environments, working collaboratively while maintaining high performance standards
- Customer- and solution-oriented mindset, building trust through value creation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Independent, entrepreneurial, and committed, with a proactive approach to seizing business opportunities
- Proficiency in CRM tools (preferably Salesforce) for effective pipeline and relationship management
- Empathetic, professional, and confident presence, with strong interpersonal skills and a polished appearance
