A Day in the Life
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Representative to drive the commercial success of Medtronic’s advanced capital equipment (Neurosurgery and ENT departments). This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in strategic sales, exceptional relationship management skills, and the ability to navigate complex sales processes in the healthcare industry.
The ideal candidate will partner with key stakeholders, including surgeons, hospital administrators, and procurement teams, to deliver tailored solutions that align with their clinical and economic needs. This position plays a pivotal role in advancing Medtronic’s mission to transform patient outcomes through innovative technologies. Regional responsibility of North Moravia, South Moravia, part of East Bohemia and part of Prague.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets for capital equipment
- Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) to align on account strategies and optimize customer engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including surgeons, hospital administrators, and procurement teams.
- Demonstrate the clinical and economic value of Medtronic solutions through data, case studies, and real-world evidence.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and identify growth opportunities, represent in conferences.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, clinical, and technical support, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on sales performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, with a focus on capital equipment and strategic sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a complex sales environment.
- Experience working with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Strategic Account Managers (SAMs).
- Ability to travel min. 3 days per week
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence across diverse stakeholders.
- Technical Expertise deep understanding of capital equipment and their clinical applications.
- Expected location: Moravia
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities is desirable.
