About The Position
The Strategy & Operations team at Salesforce is a high-performance team chartered with formulating go-to-market strategy, driving excellence in execution, and assisting senior leaders in achieving sales growth through data-driven insights.
Our ANZ Sales Strategy team is looking for an Analyst to play a critical role supporting our strategy and leadership teams. This person will be accountable for the business execution of projects which drive innovation, set the strategic agenda for the business and support our sales strategy team’s success. The analyst will own forecasting updates, and delivery of special projects which focus on innovation within our business. Deliverables take the form of strategic recommendations and the operational cadence that drives our growth.
The successful candidate will be someone who can balance strategy and operations, can work independently as well as in a team, a self-starter, an analytical rockstar, strong team player, and can handle the pressure of presenting to executive leadership. You must posses the ability to navigate the organisation to get things done. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can effectively collaborate across functions to achieve business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Drive a robust business cadence and analytical infrastructure to manage the health and momentum of the business and drive business growth
Work cross‐functionally with extended teams such as Finance, Marketing, Recruiting, and more to run smooth operations of the business and execute on transformational projects
Partner with senior leadership to deliver action-oriented, qualitative and quantitative insights that will drive growth and improve sales performance
Triage leadership requests and projects to maximise effectiveness of sales strategy resources
Develop a strong internal global network that will help influence local best practices and drive meaningful results
Desired experience/ skills:
Experience in planning, consulting, finance or business intelligence/analytics
Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis, yet translate those results to easily digestible messages, communications, and presentations
Self-motivated with a highly collaborative style and strong influence skills
Clear desire to learn and develop
A hunger to succeed in a fast paced, innovative environment
Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands
Great knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Excel
Experience in a fast-paced growth company or with subscription software business models is a plus
