The Senior Business Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drive sales and profitability at highly strategic customers. He/she will maximize sales opportunities by implementing sales planning, forecasting, and category expertise. Penetrates customer at all levels to maintain and grow Trinidad Benham portfolio and sales objectives.

- Partner with internal cross functional teams and company leadership on developing customer sales plans that deliver on TBC goals and objectives each year
- Establish Trinidad Benham as a strategic partner by continuously demonstrating and selling the value-added benefits of partnering with Trinidad Benham Corp.
- Develop strong relationships with key personnel at all levels of the customer to execute established goals
- Communicate customer initiatives, needs and objectives. Maintain a leadership role in reaching internal alignment that is mutually beneficial to customer and company.
- Utilize customer and syndicated data to identify growth opportunities, present compelling selling stories and proactively identify issues.
- Maintain a leadership role in planning activities for customer interactions, which include major business reviews, customer visits, annual customer review meetings and ongoing “top‐to‐top” meetings
- Engage internal commodity teams and product managers where needed to present market updates and showcase TBC as the expert within our segments
- Execute pricing adjustments as warranted. Partner with internal commodity and pricing teams to compile and deliver presentation materials that effectively support proposed changes
- Position TBC to win RFP’s and long-term volume contracts by continuously seeking critical knowledge and maintaining a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape.
- Manage broker network, where utilized, to help manage customer business and maximize sales and distribution opportunities
- Primary point of contact for all customer and internal inquiries.
- Assist account receivable teams with timely resolution to unauthorized deductions, late fees/fines and slow payments
- Develop pipeline opportunities and submit through internal workflow process for approval and execution
- Partner with commercialization owners internally and at the customer to ensure customer product launches occur in a timely manner
- Gather customer forecast input, maintaining a clear understanding about customer requirements and initiating any review activities for revisions with demand planning
