Key Responsibilities

  • Own the number: Lead the public sector go‑to‑market and hit/exceed quota—driving revenue growth, market share, and multi‑year programme wins.
  • Build & close: Prospect, qualify, shape and win complex solution deals—craft compelling value propositions and business cases that close decisively.
  • C‑suite engagement: Multi‑thread relationships across senior stakeholders; become a trusted advisor who aligns solutions to priority outcomes.
  • Microsoft solution sales: Position Azure, Data & AI, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform to solve real problems—bundling services + licensing for maximum value.
  • Deal orchestration: Run winning pursuits—leading presales, solution architects, delivery, legal and commercials to produce standout proposals and smooth handovers.
  • Market & account strategy: Build account and territory plans, map buying centres, navigate public sector procurement/tenders, and identify whitespace for expansion.
  • Forecasting discipline: Keep CRM immaculate, deliver accurate weekly forecasts, and improve win rate, deal velocity, and average deal size.
  • Ecosystem leverage: Maximise the Microsoft ecosystem (field alignment, partner programmes, funding, marketplace offers) to accelerate pipeline and co‑sell momentum.
