This is where AI Business Priority (AIBP) comes in plays a critical role in making this vision real. Their focus is on enabling customers to adopt AI-powered solutions that reshape business processes, empower employees, and accelerate innovation. By leveraging tools like Copilot, low-code/no-code platforms, and advanced analytics, the team helps organizations move beyond incremental improvements to true transformation. 

The goal is simple but powerful: help customers reimagine how work gets done — not just automate tasks, but redesign workflows and decision-making to deliver measurable business outcomes. 

 

As a Microsoft AI Business Process Solution Specialist Manager, you will build and lead a team of high performing Solution Specialists who are responsible for driving thought leadership and customer business process transformation. You will coach and empower the team to effectively engage C-Suite level stakeholders and build and maintain relationships with Business Decision Makers (BDMs) in our top customers to help them achieve their business goals. You will help your team build pipeline and close deals by bringing industry-relevant business value insights and leading solutions to successfully enable the customers’ end-to-end business transformationYou will model the desired behaviors of acting with integrity, upholding Microsoft culture and values, and delivering business results with high levels of sales discipline and business forecast accuracy. You will coach your team on how to remove blockers, overcome objections, and pitch Microsoft's unique value differentiation. You will create clarity in business execution and generate energy on achieving the business goals of the team. You will learn how Microsoft empowers managers to be effective people leaders as well as how Microsoft enables innovation and empowers the success of customers.

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technology-related sales or account management OR equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge in Cloud and AI Solutions

Additional or preferred qualifications

 

  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and optimizing Microsoft Cloud services (Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365) and AI-driven business solutions.
  • Understanding of AI transformation frameworks, including Copilot, agent-based solutions, and low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Consultative Selling and Advisory Skills
    • Demonstrated ability to engage with C-level executives and business decision-makers to identify business challenges and translate them into AI-enabled solutions.
    • Skilled in business value articulation, ROI modeling, and building strategic roadmaps for digital transformation.
  • Solution-Oriented Approach
    • Experience leading discovery workshops, conducting readiness assessments, and creating tailored solution architectures aligned to customer priorities.
    • Ability to orchestrate cross-functional teams (technical specialists, solution engineers, partners) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Industry and Business Acumen
    • Knowledge of industry-specific scenarios where AI and cloud can drive measurable impact (e.g., productivity, customer engagement, process automation).
    • Familiarity with compliance, security, and governance considerations in AI adoption.
  • Proven Track Record of Driving Outcomes
    • History of accelerating pipeline growth, influencing executive decision-making, and closing complex deals in enterprise environments
  • 5+ years people management experience.
  • 2+ years manager of managers experience.

 

Solution Area Specialists M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $179,700 - CAD $303,000 per year.

  • Drive Next-Generation Sales Execution Excellence to align with shifting customer journeys and buying habits to increase win rates    
  • Coach Best-in-class Business Value Selling and Customer Advocacy Program to land customer references aligned to industry business value.
