Strategy & Business Development Senior Advisor

As part of the Strategy & Business Development team, this position is responsible for management and development of various strategic analytics, insights and financial analysis across the business, in support of medium-term and long-term strategy development, execution decisions and prioritization. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, the strategy development and execution team, the finance team, and product and growth leaders for the purpose of achieving long-term strategy and short-term results in the most optimal way.

The individual will support the business in creating, implementing, and maintaining financial and business analytics to support comprehensive business strategy development, product strategy development, and execution priorities are well-defined, and data-driven. 

Details

  • Develop, maintain, and use strategic analytics and insights for business and product strategy development.
  • Provides analytical and financial support for strategy development and product strategy multi-year planning. Collaborate with Pharmacy & Care Delivery, Evernorth, and Enterprise Strategy teams for alignment.
  • Develop, enhance, and update market opportunity model (market sizing, target markets/geos, revenue opportunity, etc) in collaboration with the business, finance partners and key enterprise partners.
  • Develop and iterate recurring reporting for strategy development cycle, multi-year planning, and business or product level strategic information, including partnering with Competitive Intelligence teams.
  • Develop and manage business cases and models for inorganic and cross-enterprise business development in coordination with strategy development, Product and Growth leaders for the business, GMs and BFOs,
  • Developing materials (memos, PowerPoint, etc) for leadership in support of initiatives, business development, and business strategy.
  • Organize and maintain matrix workgroups for business development projects, including high level project management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders across the enterprise.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in finance, strategic planning, and/or competitive intelligence, involving leadership in developing and maintaining complex financial models within a corporate environment.
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills with demonstrated ability to translate highly complex information for broad consumption.
  • Strong expertise in finance and business acumen, particularly in pharmacy, PBM and care delivery business models.
  • Individual thinker with the ability to identify and drive new/uncharted solutions, methodologies, etc.
  • Ability to drive collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong relationship management skills with the ability to quickly learn and navigate the organizational in an effective manner.
  • Excellent communication, strategic planning and organizational skills, appropriate for working effectively with higher levels of management.
  • Self starter, motivated individual who works well under pressure. Must multi-task and prioritize to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Flexible, resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to a high-change environment and open to new concepts and/or processes.
  • BS/A degree, MBA degree preferred.
