Technical Account Manager
Location: Mumbai, Gurgaon, Pune, Bangalore
Purpose
The Technical Account Manager manages the technical relationships with assigned customers, focusing on Automation and Digitalization solutions. Supports (Key-) Account Manager to develop account strategies.
Main Responsibilities
Technical Customer Engagement
Acts as the main technical contact for assigned accounts / industries; translates customer needs into Siemens portfolio, technical solutions and architectures along the Integrated Solution Model.Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned accounts/industries, providing in-depth account and industry knowledge
Technical Expertise
Maintains broad technical knowledge within specific area of responsibility (e.g. DI AUT); monitors trends and competitive solutions. Has profound understanding of industry and customer processes / value stream
Solution Advisory and Technical Collaboration
Customizes existing industry Solution Maps / blueprints (Vertical, CSA) to customer needs. Provides industry specific portfolio and solution recommendations and supports the sales process with tech. feasibility insights
Bridges Account Management, Sales Acceleration teams, Customer Solution Architect and delivery partners, works closely with CSA in customer and strategic engagements
Documentation and Communication
Contributes to technical documents (Specifications, Offers ….) and presentations. Is capable to assess costs of implementation.
Strategic Roles
Supports Account Managers in developing technical strategies that complement commercial goals.
