This role is part of Alcon's Sales & Sales Support function, a team that helps provide access to products across all channels in an effort to drive customer satisfaction with eye care professionals to help people see brilliantly.

The Sr. Associate, Vision Care Field Sales (Professional Path) is primarily responsible for selling specialty retail products to independent retailers and chain store headquarters, supporting key accounts and hospital networks, and contributing to sales and marketing campaigns. You will maintain product and competitor knowledge, handle customer inquiries and complaints, and ensure adherence to Alcon's code of conduct. Specifics include:

• Sell specialty retail products to independent retail establishments and chain headquarters
• Service accounts by suggesting new products and promotions, arranging and maintaining product displays, and taking orders for new merchandise
• Achieve agreed sales, productivity, and performance targets within agreed budgets and timescales
• Develop business plans and implement activities like customer events, sales campaigns, and presentations
• Provide key account or hospital network support and market access support, including referral networks
• Provide input into effective use of promotional funds and territory sales forecasting
• Maintain and enhance knowledge of products, strategy, positioning, key messages, programs, company developments, customers, and competitors
• Achieve agreed contact, coverage, and frequency targets through various communication channels
• Ensure customer satisfaction and build best-in-class customer relationships
• Handle inquiries and complaints quickly and professionally following company procedures
• Contribute positively to the Sales and Marketing team through cooperative relationships and collaborative efforts
• Follow all adverse events guidelines and Alcon's Code of Conduct
• Demonstrate behavior in accordance with Alcon's code of practice

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

Sales experience in the optical industry or similar would be preferred.

Experience in selling premium original products where quality is emphasized.

Positive attitude, business and team spirit, open-minded, motivated to learn new things.

English at a communicative level is an advantage but not a necessity.
