Job Description
As the Youfoodz National Account Manager for the Petrol & Convenience (P&C) channel, you will be the commercial architect for some of our most important retail partnerships. You will own the strategy and relationships with major P&C customers, developing and executing ambitious plans to drive profitable growth and expand our market share. This is a key strategic role where you'll hunt for new business and solidify our position as a category leader.
This role can be based in either Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne and reports to the National Sales Manager.
You will…
- Drive profitable growth by exceeding annual revenue, margin, and contribution targets for your customer portfolio
- Lead the development and execution of JBP’s with key customers for 12-24 months to unlock mutual growth.
- Utilise data-driven insights from sources like Circana/IRI and NielsenIQ to conduct compelling category reviews. Deliver persuasive presentations on new lines, range optimisation, and promotional strategies to become a trusted advisor to your customers
- Strategically develop, manage, and flawlessly execute promotional plans that drive sales, increase market share, and deliver a strong return on investment (ROI)
- Own the channel's commercial inputs, including accurate sales forecasting, diligent budget management, and ROI-focused trade spend analysis
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with key external stakeholders, including buyers/category managers within the P&C channel (e.g., Ampol, BP, EG Group, 7-Eleven, OTR).
- Champion cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, including Marketing, Supply Chain, Field and Finance, to ensure seamless execution of plans and alignment on company objectives
- Travel as required to meet with customers, attend industry trade shows, and stay connected to market trends and opportunities
You have…
- A minimum of 3+ years' experience in FMCG National Account Management
- Proven success managing key national accounts within the P&C channel, with direct experience dealing with key retailers such as Ampol, BP, VIVA, EG Group, 7-Eleven, etc.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence and motivate others
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with FMCG databases such as Quantium, Nielsen & IRI/Aztec
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, demonstrating strong commercial acumen, resilience, professionalism, and work ethic.
